Vet Center

The University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL) is committed to supporting our nation's veterans, servicemembers, and their families in their pursuit of higher education. The UMSL Veterans Center was established in 2012 to assist veterans in their transition from the military to campus life. Our resource center specializes in GI Bill benefits advising & certification, academic support, and career-development opportunities.

Focus Marines

FOCUS Marines Foundation develops and administers programs for struggling wounded Post- 9/11 Marines, Navy Corpsmen, and other veterans which will assist them in their transition from military to civilian lives. Four times a year FOCUS Marines Foundation brings wounded veterans from across the country to a private facility in the St. Louis area for a one week life-transforming session at no cost to the veteran.
