Trees For Vets
In December 2014 The Kaufman Fund, with Eagle Bank as our sponsoring partner, started a program to give Christmas trees and stands to deserving veterans and their families to enjoy the traditions of the holiday season. Since this program began we have partnered with several other businesses wanting to help fund and increase the Christmas holiday season for our veterans. We are also working with St Patrick's Center, UMSL, USO, Sts Joachim and Ann and other local charities. Over 1000 trees have been given to these deserving families to date and we intend to continue this program. Any funds collected that exceed the tree expenses are donated to the local charities we support.
If you would like to be a sponsor or help this program, contact Irwin Loiterstein at email@example.com
The Kaufman Fund, along with Enterprise Bank, Bommarito Automotive Group, the Northwest Chamber of Commerce, the West St. Louis County Chamber of Commerce, and other sponsoring companies will again be providing Christmas Trees and stands to deserving veterans and their families, at no cost to them, to help them celebrate the Holiday Season. You may have been selected last year to get a Christmas tree and stand or your name may have been provided by one of several veteran organizations working with us. Any veterans in need who would like to be considered for a tree and stand should e-mail their name, address, phone number and e-mail address to firstname.lastname@example.org. Veterans will be responsible for picking the trees up on Sunday, December 10, 2017 in West County.
There are a limited number of trees available, and the veterans selected, will be sent a confirmation letter and told the time to arrive to pick up their trees. Veterans will need the confirmation letter to pick up a tree; no trees will be given without a confirmation letter.
If you would like to be considered for a tree and stand, send in the above information as soon as possible, but before November 18, 2017.
Again, veterans selected will be sent a confirmation letter and will receive follow up e-mails to remind them of their time to pick up the tree.
