Trees For Vets
On Sunday, December 10th, the Kaufman Fund held their fourth annual Trees for Vets event.
Thanks to sponsors like you, Trees for Vets gave 325 Christmas trees and stands, free of charge, to Veterans and their families to enjoy the Christmas Holiday Season. In addition, through your and other sponsor’s generous donations, The Kaufman Fund was also able to donate 85 winter coats to Veterans helped by St. Patrick Center.
We want to thank you for your continued support to The Kaufman Fund which allows us to provide trees, dental care and legal services to the Veteran community in St. Louis.
In December 2014 The Kaufman Fund, with Eagle Bank as our sponsoring partner, started a program to give Christmas trees and stands to deserving veterans and their families to enjoy the traditions of the holiday season. Since this program began we have partnered with several other businesses wanting to help fund and increase the Christmas holiday season for our veterans. We are also working with St Patrick's Center, UMSL, USO, Sts Joachim and Ann and other local charities. Over 1000 trees have been given to these deserving families to date and we intend to continue this program. Any funds collected that exceed the tree expenses are donated to the local charities we support.
